Classic Design

The Squier Gold Edition Jazzmaster features a lightweight Poplar body that delivers a well-rounded, balanced tone that’s similar to Alder. Slick playability is catered for by a sturdy Maple neck that’s carved to a comfortable Modern “C” profile. This neck profile can handle a wide range of playing techniques with ease, from thumb-over string bends to elegant lead lines. Topping the Maple neck is a smooth Indian Laurel fretboard and 21 frets. The vintage-style Jazzmaster headstock harkens back to the iconic instrument’s roots.

Fender Designed Pickups

Squier equip the Gold Edition Jazzmaster with two Fender Designed single-coil pickups. These Alnico 5 single-coils deliver the classic Jazzmaster warmth and jangle that can cover clean Surf Rock, filthy Grunge, spacey Shoegaze and more. The versatile Jazzmaster control scheme includes a three-way selector switch, master volume, master tone and the trademark rhythm circuit. A universe of tonal possibilities is at your fingertips!
