faulty but seemed to be good if not faulty
A lovely bass, plays beautifully. Absolutely ideal for beginners.
Good action and nice feel, not too heavy either. Jazz (bridge) pick up a little unresponsive. Had to turn lots to notice any difference. Split (Neck) pick up has nice tone and more responsive. Good high gloss finish. Very slight play on E string machine head when adjusting will probably upgrade in time. Overall good value for money. Purchased as a practice guitar would probably gig with it too.
Great value for money, plays superbly
Reading reviews on this product I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to get, BUT.. I expected to get a budget bass made in China. Reviews included fret ends needing attention as they were sharp and unfinished, neck, intonation and action needing attention. NONE OF THAT HERE. My bass is made in Indonesia, with 'Precision Bass' not 'P Bass' on the headstock. It arrived with intonation correctly set, smooth fret ends, and the only indication that this is a budget instrument is the matt finish on the neck, and, perhaps its overall weight. The sound is fantastic, and I think that for £199 its a steal...and it would still be good value at twice that. It does just what it says on the tin, and more...If you are considering one of these, don't hesitate... GO FOR IT!
