Squier Bullet Strat with Tremolo HSS Arctic White Overview

Squier Bullet Series

The Squier Bullet collection is one of their most cost-effective series of guitars, offering classic Fender designs at an affordable price. It’s a great range for beginners to start learning guitar on models that are stylish and affordable, and you can’t find a better place to start than with the Squier Bullet series of iconic Stratocasters, Telecasters, and Mustangs.

The variety in this collection makes it easy for new starters to find a guitar that suits them. The Squier Bullet Stratocaster is a versatile guitar that lets you play in a variety of styles with its three single-coil pickups. The Squier Bullet Telecaster also has single-coil pickups and is especially suited to fans of indie and country music. The Squier Bullet Mustang has thick-sounding dual humbuckers which make it ideal for playing heavy rock as they’re better for overdrive and distortion. These are all available in a variety of bold, classic colours to suit your style.

Squier's Bullet Stratocaster with Tremolo is a simple, affordable and practical guitar designed for beginners and students. It has 2 single-coil pickups and one humbucker with five-way switching, providing a range of tones, making this guitar very versatile. It also includes a maple neck with 21-fret rosewood fingerboard and a tremolo bridge which lets you perform pitch bends with ease using the whammy bar.

Available in Arctic White, Black, and Brown Sunburst.

Get playing straight away with Squier Affinity Stratocaster Pack HSS, Brown Sunburst, which includes everything you need - an Affinity Series HSS Stratocaster, Fender Frontman 15G Amp, gig bag, strap, cable, and picks.

What’s the difference between this and other brand guitars?

The Squier brand is the entry-level for the Fender brand, possibly the most iconic electric guitar brand in the world. The Stratocaster shape is available from Fender from entry-level all the way up to collector level and is the choice of many professionals and guitar heroes like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton & Dave Gilmour.

If you want a slightly better guitar, consider the Squier Affinity series, which uses an alder body and higher quality pickups. The series has great entry-level guitars at a slightly higher price point.

What is HSS?

HSS is the pickup configuration or the “microphones” that pick up the movement of the strings.

HSS means Humbucker, Single Coil, Single Coil. Humbucker means the pickup is quieter and more powerful, whereas single coils are valued for their clarity and expression.

Overview by Squier

Designed for players seeking an affordable, stylish and versatile instrument, the Bullet® Stratocaster® HSS sports the classic looks and tone that made the Strat® one of the most popular guitars of all time. Highlights include a thin and lightweight body, an easy-to-play “C”-shaped neck profile, a humbucking bridge and single-coil neck and middle pickups with five-way switching for sonic variety, and a tremolo bridge for expressive string-bending effects.

The comfortable “C”-shaped neck profile of this instrument (the shape of the neck in cross-section) is sculpted to impart a vintage-style playing feel. The most prevalent neck profile shape, it’s remarkably comfortable and is ideal for all playing styles.

Great looking and extremely comfortable to play, a rosewood fingerboard is a classic design element.

For fat, warm tone with balanced sound, this instrument features a humbucking pickup in the bridge position.

Needed some setting up but that's just a personal thing. May change the pickups and pots at some point, not the best, but on the whole very good value for very little money.
