Squier Bullet Series

The Squier Bullet collection is one of their most cost-effective series of guitars, offering classic Fender designs at an affordable price. It’s a great range for beginners to start learning guitar on models that are stylish and affordable, and you can’t find a better place to start than with the Squier Bullet series of iconic Stratocasters, Telecasters, and Mustangs.

The variety in this collection makes it easy for new starters to find a guitar that suits them. The Squier Bullet Stratocaster is a versatile guitar that lets you play in a variety of styles with its three single-coil pickups. The Squier Bullet Telecaster also has single-coil pickups and is especially suited to fans of indie and country music. The Squier Bullet Mustang has thick-sounding dual humbuckers which make it ideal for playing heavy rock as they’re better for overdrive and distortion. These are all available in a variety of bold, classic colours to suit your style.

The Squier Bullet Stratocaster Hardtail is a simple and affordable guitar designed for beginners and students, giving you the Fender look and style at an affordable price. It’s a perfect choice for a first guitar no matter who you are or what style of music you want to learn. It has the classic features that made the Strat one of the world’s favourite guitars, and the Squier Bullet Strat is a great introduction to the Fender family.

Features include a lightweight body, comfortable ‘C’-shaped maple neck, and an Indian laurel fingerboard with 21 frets. There’s also three single-coil pickups with five-way switching so you have complete control over the sound you want, and a sturdy, reliable hardtail bridge, so you have increased tuning stability and intonation, which is ideal for people who are learning to play the guitar.

Available in Black and Brown Sunburst

For a slightly better guitar, but with everything you need to get started, try the Squier Affinity Stratocaster Pack HSS, Brown Sunburst, which includes a Squier Affinity Stratocaster in Brown Sunburst, Fender Frontman 15G Amp, cable, strap, picks, and free 30 day trial of Fender Play.

What’s the difference between this and other brand guitars?

The Squier brand is the entry-level for the Fender brand, possibly the most iconic electric guitar brand in the world. The Stratocaster shape is available from Fender from entry-level all the way up to collector level and is the choice of many a professional and guitar heroes like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton & Dave Gilmour.

If you want to upgrade, consider the Squier Affinity series, which uses an alder body and higher quality pickups. It’s still an entry-level guitar that’s good for beginners, just a slightly higher price point.

What is Hardtail?

It’s a version of the Stratocaster without a tremolo arm, which alters the pitch using a bar. This makes it more stable tuning wise and therefore better to learn on. You can see the Tremolo arm version Squier Bullets here

Great first guitar, can’t wait to start learning

Obviously not the best guitar, but it is a squire and they’re made by fenders so it’s bound to be pretty good, the only downside to it is that if you pluck the first string it vibrates on the frets and makes a horrible noise but can probably be fixed.

Guitar is decent. Few scratches on the body and very slight intonation issues past the 16th fret or so. Otherwise, tone is not bad.
