Perfectly playable out of the box apart from a quick tune up. Yes, I have replaced the strings and adjusted tremolo claw and lubricated nut etc. as well as take a tiny bit of relief out of the neck but the guitar was basically fine as it came. The intonation and action were spot on. The neck feels lovely; the satin finish and profile are just what I like and there are no sharp fret edges. The 2 point tremolo is smooth and stable (once set up properly) and the weight of the guitar is just right for me (not light but not too heavy). The finish is flawless and looks great. I bought this guitar to use when playing gigs with my band. I wanted a Strat with humbuckers and a maple neck without lots of finish on it so that I had something versatile to play that was not so expensive that I would stress if it got damaged / lost like I would with my favourite Stra but a little more refined than the "partscasters / FrankenStrats" that I normally take to gigs. I am not disappointed so far. Can't wait to take it to our next rehearsal for a proper workout.

Bought this as a gift - the recipient was very pleased. Good clean sound and the pearl white paint has a subtle sparkle, very nice.
