Steinberger Spirit XT-25 Standard Bass, 5 String, Black
Steinberger Spirit XT-25 Overview by GAK:
Nothing looks like a Steinberger and nothing performs like one either! The Spirit XT-2 is a 5-string bass featuring the same distinctive body-shape as the award-winning Steinberger XL Series and features the trademark headless neck with the patented Double-Ball tuning system. Add to that, a 3-piece hard Maple neck going completely through the body reinforced with an adjustable truss rod and this bass is extremely stable.
Other features include the patented Steinberger fixed bass bridge with direct-pull, 40:1 ratio machine heads, two (humbucker - humbucker) Steinberger bass pickups and folding leg rest for playing comfort while sitting. And the XT-2 is perhaps the world's most "travel-friendly" and convenient bass ever made. It comes complete with a gigbag and, being only 38.5" in length, it can fit in places where other basses can't! If you're on a budget but still need and want an instrument with Steinberger features and performance, the Spirit XT bass is perfect for you. Steinberger- State of the Instrument.

Can't beat this for a bargain, headless bass. Great value for money. Needed a bit of setup but I'm not going to quibble with that at this price point. I'm totally loving it as a versatile piece of kit that's so convenient to play anywhere. Definitely a lifesaver for "working from home" when you need a bass that you can noodle on but doesn't get in the way of everything at the same time.
Finally available again and at an affordable price. Delighted!
Nice bass, but someone had messed with this and ruined the truss rod nut. Not Steinberger's fault, I think. Finish is so-so. Great value, though.
