The Cutlass Richardson6 is the 6-string model of the popular 7-string Jason Richardson model, created to appeal to a wider audience.

This model features an Alder body with a highly figured Poplar Burl top to provide a striking natural look. The roasted maple neck is extremely durable and resistant to temperature changes and is topped with a smooth rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets. It also has locking tuners and a modern tremolo bridge which provides solid tuning stability.

For pickups, it has a pair of high-output Sterling by Music Man-designed JR humbuckers, which offer a warm, vintage tone and there is a ‘push-push’ boost control and coil-tap tone control so you have a wide range of sounds available at your fingertips.

Following the popularity of Jason Richardon’s 7-string signature model, now introducing the Richardson6 for the more traditional player. Featuring a custom contoured lower horn for fret access, roasted maple neck with rosewood fretboard, and figured Poplar Burl top, it puts the features of the original into a 6-string configuration. That includes high output Sterling by Music Man designed humbuckers, a 12dB “Push-Push’’ volume boost, coil-tap “Push-Push” tone control, and Modern Tremolo.
