The Takamine TLD M2 Special Edition Natural has a Solid Sitka Spruce Top, Solid Figured Myrtle Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck, Ebony Fretboard, Abalone Diamond Inlays, Rosewood Bridge, Gold Tuners, TLD-2 Line Driver Electronics, Incl. Case Oregon Myrtle is wonderful, silky-sounding tone wood native to Oregon and Northern California. It has become very popular in the acoustic guitar community over the last decade or so. Highly figured myrtle is a rare commodity, so when Takamine was presented the opportunity to purchase some great sets, they gladly did! This year they produced 30 TLD M2 Special Edition guitars from this wood, of which only 4 are destined for the UK. These OM's guitars are rare, beautiful, and sweet-sounding guitars that are perfect for a wide variety of players. They are made in Takamine's pro-shop in Sakashita, Japan, where they have been crafting beautiful guitars for over fifty years.
