The Club-JAM Flyer is the ultimate compact-sized drum kit. It features a 14”x10” bass drum with bass drum lifter, 8”x6” tom tom, 10”x9” floor tom and a 10”x5” snare drum. The Club-JAM Flyer kit delivers a very-well balanced authentic drum sound despite its smaller-sized shells. The Club-JAM Flyer kit’s compact size and configuration make it perfect for any small venue or street show.

Cymbals, Hardware and Drum Throne are not included. A special drum bag set for the Club-JAM Flyer kit is also available for purchase.

I love this little kit. Due to space issues I am having to get rid of my vintage Beverley kit, so went for the most compact acoustic kit I could find (which still had decent reviews). I'm blown away by how good this kit is. Well made and packs a real punch for the size (would have no problem gigging with this in a pub or small hall). I have it set up in a garden room and still feel the need to mute the snare and bass drum for fear of annoying the neighbours! Only thing I would say is the smaller tom sounds a bit bongo-like (not really surprising given it's only 8 inch), so I will be experimenting with some better heads. As many online reviewers point out, the stock heads are not amazing, although I have no problem with the snare and bass drum heads - both sound great. I did test out a Pearl Midtown midtown before going for the Club Jam, and that suffered the same problem (for anyone interested, I did think the midtown sounded a little louder.....not necessarily better....but the club jam flyer is considerably smaller, it's cheaper and the sound quality/volume is fine for my needs which is why I went that way). All in all, I would recommend this kit to anyone who needs to save space but doesn't want an electric kit. I haven't gigged with it, but when the time comes it will be a hell of a lot easier than lugging a 22 inch bass drum around!

Due to a disability I wanted a new kit that was light, portable and affordable. After reading online reviews I decided on the Tama Compact Flyer along with its custom case set. Despite the small shell sizes of the kit it sounds great and creates a surprising amount of volume. The toms and snare respond very well to different tunings and while the 14 inch bass doesn’t have the output of a full size bass it works perfectly well in the small band I play in. I’m very pleased with it.
