The Tama HT 741B Ergo-Rider Throne with Backrest provides complete ergonomic comfort and support. It's a round/saddle hybrid that allows unimpeded thigh movement. Two gentle seat indentations and an added 4/5" upper insert of soft foam encourage the right posture while providing total playing comfort.

Very comfy throne, feels really sturdy

I bought this for playing guitar and am delighted. I’d bought and returned a guitar bar stool (that wasn’t much less money) but wasn’t happy with the quality. This is worlds apart, great design, amazing quality, and very comfortable.

Great seat. I'm using it for guitar, having suffered with various shoulder and back ailments the last year or two. The ability to adjust height within a huge range and the adjustable back rest are fantastic features. Highly recommended.

I already have the First Chair (three legged version without backrest) and as I get older I find I tend to lean forward. I did once fall off the back of a stage (no injuries fortunately, but a bit scary). The backrest makes me sit up straight, which is a much less tiring posture> This is a very sturdy and well-engineered throne, which I find very comfortable. I have sold the older one to an accordionist friend who was complaining about "pot luck" seats. This is one area where drummers tend to get it right.
