Item in good condition. Minor signs of use (small scratches or marks)
The Taylor 614ce is a remarkable guitar known for its craftsmanship and rich sound. This pre-owned example from 2001 is in very good condition relative to its age with only minor blemishes to note.
The guitar has a double-bound Grand Auditorium body with a 15-3/4" lower bout and a Venetian cutaway for easy access to the upper frets. The top is made of spruce with an X-brace, adorned with an abalone rosette and black-white-black-white-black purfling. The back and sides are built from a highly figured maple, resulting in an instrument that looks as great as it sounds!
The maple neck has a 20-fret bound ebony fretboard with 600 series pearl inlays, a 1-3/4" nut width, and a 25 1/2" scale length. The neck profile is a comfortable "C" shape for ease of playability.
The The gold hardware complements the guitar's elegant appearance beautifully and the Grover tuners ensure stable tuning. It additionally features a Fishman Prefix pickup system, providing clear and natural amplified tones.
It comes with the original hardshell case and comes fully set up with D'Addario 12-53.
