TC Electronic BH550 550W Portable Bass Head
With the TC Electronic BH550 bass amp head, TC have built on the popularity and success of the BH250 by adding even more of what made the original so popular in the first place.
With 550 watts of pure power, the BH550 has been designed to pack even more of a punch without sacrificing the super-compact, lightweight build and endless tonal capabilities!
The BH550 of course features the same TonePrint technology which helped make the BH250 so unique. However, with the BH550 you can now not only transmit one, but two different effects to this amp at one time, controlled by switching between the two TonePrint knobs. Cutting down on the amount of pedals you have to carry, you can choose from a world of effects from chorus to drive to signature effects from legendary musicians such as Duff McKagan, so there really is nothing holding you back with this device. TonePrints are all available for free to download from the TC Electronic website or, truly keeping in touch with the 21st century, you can download them via the TonePrint app, available for your iPhone or Android device!
This device also features a built-in tuner which guarantees to get you back in tune and playing in an instant, whether your bass is a 4, 5 or even 6 string.
With a deceptively small and simple design and layout, the BH550 is full of surprises and is ready for any scenario, whether you're jamming at home, live or in the studio.

An amazing amount of power with so many great features. The overall tone is awesome with a very clever eq and the toneprint is a great way to use different effects
Excellent sound. Easy Toneprint manipulation. Mute & Toneprint bank toggle switch is tiny/flimsy... like a problem waiting to happen. Otherwise sound for the pound.
Really great sound, so light and potable. Wish there were more tone prints available though
