Vintage V300 Folk Acoustic, Mahogany Overview

The Vintage V300 acoustic guitar was selected by The Guitar Magazine as the "Best Acoustic Guitar Under 1000". "This little concert acoustic is stonkingly good," continued TGM, adding, "A comfortable, fast playing neck, plus good dynamics and volume from the parlour-esque body. At this price, go buy. Every home should have one."

The Vintage V300 is a full 642mm scale length acoustic folk guitar, but with a smaller, curvier body reminiscent of early acoustic guitars. The smaller physical size makes the V300 a perfect choice for beginners. But the smaller body and the V300's solid mahogany top and mahogany body produces an incredible tone and balanced tone which pro's will appreciate.

With its solid mahogany top and eco-conscious nato wood neck, the Vintage V300 acoustic folk guitar represents an ideal introduction to playing full size acoustic guitars. The Vintage V300 is a straightforward no-frills performance acoustic folk guitar with traditional looks that has much to offer guitarists of all abilities.

What an astonishing guitar! I simply cannot believe that something so good could cost so little! I have been playing for about 40+ years so I like to think that I know my onions! This sits along side my Gibson Hummingbird and K.Yairi WY-1 perfectly regarding its tone and feel. Having previously having owned a v300 Spruce top I knew roughly how it would play - which is wonderful pretty much out of the box - but I wasn't ready for the tone! Admittedly I have changed the strings for Elixir Nanoweb lights and taken the bridge down a tad - but it is an exceptional guitar and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Exceptional finish (a real beauty to simply look at) and pure joy to play. It has a really lovely tone especially when finger picked. If you are considering buying this, do not hesitate - buy one. Even the bridge and nut are 'nubone' synthetic bone - which are superb! What an exceptional guitar! absolutely love it - and NO BUYERS REMORSE AT ALL!

Budget guitar? Price-wise maybe, but not in quality! I love this Vintage instrument.
