Vox AC15C2 Custom Twin 15W 2x12 Combo Overview

Now available as a 2 speaker version or the AC15C1, the new AC15C2 or 'Twin', as the amps were affectionately named by their users in the '60s, is fitted with 2 x Celestion 12' Green Back speakers.

Since it's introduction in 1958 the Vox AC15 has become one of the most iconic amplifiers in rock. The Vox AC15C2 Custom 15W 2x12 Combo carries the spirit of the original all-tube AC15. Features include a twin channel design with both Normal and Top Boost tones, separate gain and master volume, tremelo, spring reverb and treble and bass controls. The Vox AC15C2 Custom 15W 2x12 Combo is fitted with a Celestion 12' Green Back G12M speakers and is finished in classic black vinyl and classic Vox grill cloth. Thanks to the larger cabinet size, the AC15C2 also features the larger reverb tank found on the AC30C2 models.

Back to my teens with a Vox amp (long time ago). Does exactly what I expected but still have a lot more experimenting to do.

Oh my goodness, brilliant amp great tones without demolishing the house, but plenty loud enough to gig (when we can) one of the few things in life that’s made better than than they used to !
