Yamaha CLP-675 Clavinova Digital Piano in Rosewood Overview:

The CLP-675 Clavinova is another new addition to the Clavinova CLP-600 series and is a beautiful looking, sonically stunning digital piano for home, schools, stage and studio. The Clavinova CLP-675 features the GrandTouch keyboard with synthetic and ivory keytops (they use wood for the white keys), 88 key Linear Graded Hammers and has a GP Response Damper Pedal. There's also a solid speaker system giving you superb sound quality and extra volume should you need it. As with all the New Yamaha Clavinova CLP-600 digital pianos, you get to explore wonderful piano voices sampled directly from the Yamaha CFX concert grand piano and the Bosendorfer Imperial grand which are 2 of the most prestigious pianos ever made. Alongside this you will find GrandTouch and ebony keytops, Virtual Resonance Modeling, Piano Room, Binaural Sampling and Bluetooth audio.

Features in depth:

Yamaha have introduced GrandTouch and ebony keytops. These are newly developed for the Yamaha CLP-675. They offer better response and greater dynamic range. When you're playing, you'll want a balanced response when you hit the keys just like on a real grand. The 675 keys have a balanced response from the tip to the back of each key. The GrandTouch keyboard features wood on the white keys. Yamaha have also used a highly absorbent material that prevents your fingers from slipping off the keys even after hours or practice.

Highlighted above, the CLP-675 features voices from 2 world-renowned concert grands, the CFX and the Bosendorfer Imperial. Plus you'll get a stunning upright piano voice.

Piano Room is a modelling technology that allows you to control things like internal grand piano reverberations and string resonance characteristics. This means you can really craft your sound should you wish to.

Enhanced virtual resonance modeling helps this piano to achieve a rich and bright sound by replicating the resonance of an acoustic instrument.

Binaural Sampling technology - Yamaha have used samples from their Flagship CFX recorded with very special microphones to capture things ambience and other nuances. This means that when you're playing in your headphones, you'll soon forget you were wearing them.

Bluetooth Audio - This is a really cool feature and allows you to play along to songs from your music app of choice.
