Like the smaller AC-2, the Zoom AC-3 Acoustic Creator is a DI box, used to amplify your acoustic sound and create your perfect tone both onstage and in the studio. It is fully equipped with an effects generator, stereo outputs, and a compressor alongside a low noise preamp to boost your signal and ensure it remains clean.
The AC-3 features a 3-band EQ which lets you quickly sculpt and refine your tone, alongside 9 different effects, including delay, chorus and reverb with adjustable parameters. AC-3 also comes equipped with 16 source guitar type/body presets to allow accurate tone re-creation dependent on your guitar and pickup type.
Adding further versatility, AC-3 also comes with 15 additional target guitar presets that you can use to more accurately match your guitar’s tone. For example, if you were using a Martin D-18 dreadnought, you can select the Dreadnought source preset.
