Epiphone are the baby brother company of Gibson and this, the G400, is the official SG standard replica.The Epiphone SG 400 utilises mahogany as the main wood of the instrument and both the neck and body are crafted from Mahogany. The fret-board is in rosewood and is decorated with attractive pearl trapezoidal inlays. The pick-ups are twin Alnico hum-buckers with passive electronics and these are controlled by their own tone and volume pots. This deluxe, limited edition of the G400 features the classic, retro looking Maestro tailpiece and tremolo system.
