Fender Custom Shop Nashville American Tele Custom (Orange Sparkle) Overview
Wow- the Nashville Tele has had a few incarnations over the years but the Custom Shop have gone all out with this one! Handpicked by us at the Custom Shop in Corona, California Fender have gone with a double-bound Tele Custom body crafted from extra-light Ash finished in a thin skin urethane orange sparkle. The tinted quartersawn Maple neck has a very comfy mid-60's oval 'C' profile and a dark Rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" - 12" compound radius fingerboard- a feature usually reserved for Masterbuilt instruments only. There's narrow & tall 6105 frets, a bone nut and Schaller tuners.
Electronics wise we have Twisted Tele neck & bridge pickups with a John Cruz Master Design Strat pickup in the middle position. There's Strat 5 way switching and a vintage Tele bridge. An awesome guitar, not for the faint hearted!
