Ovation Applause AE128 (Natural) Overview
Ovation's Applause AE-128 electro-acoustic guitar is a shallow bowl, single cutaway, electro-acoustic guitar with Ovation's superb quality OP4B pre-amp and transducer pick up. The Ovation Applause sound is typical of all Ovations. The warm acoustic guitar tones are combined with the pre-amp electronics to create the Ovation sound.The AE128's Super-Shallow composite body feels similar to an electric, yet it retains all the benefits and acoustic properties of Ovation's proven round back design. A spruce top and matched lightweight bracing deliver a clear amplified tone with plenty of headroom before feedback on stage.
The guitar's center soundhole offers a traditional look, and its slim neck has an electric-style profile, 20 hand-finished nickel-silver frets, and low-factory set action. A cutaway ensures easy access to the entire fretboard. Featuring a 3-band EQ, gain knob, and battery status LED, the easy-to-use onboard OP-4B preamp is great for recording too!
