Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster HSS Pack, Maple Fingerboard, Lake Placid Blue Overview
The Fender Squier Affinity Range has been refreshed for the first time since 2017 to include new and updated features, as well as new models and colours to breathe life into the popular Squier Affinity series. Key components have been upgraded such as tremolo bridges, pickups, tuning machines, and aesthetic updates such as gloss headstocks and updated logos, re-establishing the Squier Affinity range as a great option for beginners who want an affordable electric guitar or bass guitar that also looks and sounds great.
The pack includes a Squier Affinity Series HSS Electric Guitar with a Lake Placid Blue finish, a Fender 15G amplifier which has a three-band EQ, clean and overdrive channels, and a headphone output for silent practising, a padded gig bag, guitar strap and a 10' instrument cable - everything you need to get playing right away.
The Fender Squier Affinity Stratocaster HSS has a thin and lightweight poplar body that provides a resonant and meaty tone as well as making it more comfortable to play, a 25.5" scale length, a maple neck with a comfortable ‘C’ shape profile, and a smooth Indian laurel fretboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. It also has a 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles which provide great tuning stability and increased sustain, a synthetic bone nut and sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts that provide accurate tuning, as well as being easy to restring which is ideal for beginners who just want to play.
For pickups, it has an HSS pickup configuration, which means it has a Humbucker pickup and two Single-coil pickups with a 5-way pickup switcher - letting you experiment with a wide range of tones - from bright and articulate single-coil sounds to warm, punchy humbucking tones, making it great for playing various styles of music.
To complete the Fender Squier Affinity Stratocaster HSS are white control knobs and pickguard, chrome hardware, and a bold Lake Placid Blue finish.
This is also available with a Squier Affinity Series HSS Stratocaster Pack in Charcoal Frost Metallic which has a Laurel fretboard.
