This NAMM Limited Heavy Relic Thinline '56 Stratocaster in Wide Fade 2 Tone Sunburst is equipped with Handwound Fat 50s Pickups to give you that truly authentic classic fifties tone but with a bit of extra bite and output. These pickups work great in an Ash body accentuating the highs and deepening the lows to give you a very full and open sounding guitar. A Nitro flash coat Lacquer has been given the Heavy Relic treatment and aged to look like a guitar that has been used night after night for 60 years. The 10/56 "V" shape on the AA Flame quartersawn Maple neck is very comfortable to play and a modern 9.5" radius with 21 Tall Narrow frets ensure a nice low action. Set up with 10-46 gauge strings and a Bone nut to bring the best out of this extremely resonant guitar. Comes with a limited engraved neckplate, limited certificate of authenticity and a Custom Shop case. Great example of the stunning craftsmanship coming out of the Fender Custom Shop.
