The CTK-6200 has 61 full sized piano-style keys with touch sensitivity, each key has a decent weighted feel and the action is smooth and responsive. Adjacent to the keys is the CTK-6200's pitch shift wheel which works great with some of the keyboards built-in woodwind and string voices, again the action is smooth and highly responsive, a great tool for added expression.

The CTK-6200's brain is the Casio AHL Soundchip, packed with a staggering 700 high-quality built-in tones/voices, 210 built-in rhythms, 100 superb DSP effects such as Delay, Phaser and more, plus an onboard 5-setting graphic EQ.

The available 700 tones found onboard the 6200 span a huge range of instruments, from classical piano and electric piano tones to synthesisers, woodwind, string and other instruments. Each tone has been carefully constructed to sound as realistic and dynamic as possible. The onboard rhythms selection boasts 210 orchestrated accompaniment styles to elevate your performance with a vast range of rhythms. From Rock & Roll to Latin, Funk, EDM and beyond, there is beat to cater to your style. Furthermore, the CTK-6200 gives you the option to create and customise your own sound pallet with the 'Tones & Rhythm Editor'.

The CTK-6200's 100 built-in DSP effects make it feel like you're in your very own studio, customise your sound by applying Reverbs, Delays, Flangers, Wah, Rotary and more whilst using the 5-setting graphic EQ function to fitness the sound even further.

The control panel on the CTK-6200 features a large array of buttons and knobs to navigate, search and edit. The built-in LCD screen is easy to navigate with a dedicated scroll wheel and selection buttons to browse quickly and easily. Other buttons include the 6200's Tone Group buttons that let you browse and access your desired tone in seconds.

The CTK-6200 lets you record your performances thanks to an onboard 16-track song sequencer and 32 channel mixer, editing tools include event insert, copy and delete, quantize note locator and a step recording function. Apply an SD card (Not included) into the mix and you can take your recordings anywhere, other connections include class compliant MIDI USB connectivity also means connection to your Mac or PC without the need to install drivers.
