Epiphone Limited 1961 G-400 PRO (Silverburst) Overview

Epiphone Limited 1961 G-400 PRO Overview by GAK:

Super-limited G-400 PRO! The Ed. "1961" G-400 PRO electric guitar is inspired by the first generation of “SG” style guitars that replaced the briefly discontinued Les Paul and became a favourite of metal and hard rock players around the world. The “1961" G-400 PRO has a classic Mahogany body and Mahogany neck with a 1960's SlimTaper “D” profile. The neck has a standard 24.75” scale length with a smooth Torrefied Composite fingerboard with pearled trapezoid inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a 12” fingerboard radius. The “1961” G-400 PRO comes in exclusive Candy Apple Red, Metallic Gold, and Silver burst finishes. The "1961" G-400 PRO is powered by vintage-inspired Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO 4-wire hum buckers that are voiced like the first generation of now-priceless hum buckers found in late 50s Les Pauls and early 60s SGs. Premium Top hat controls with metal inserts are included for each pickup’s Volume and Tone. Plus, each pickup also comes with a coil-splitting switch via a push/pull control on the neck and bridge volume pots. Coil-splitting allows players to turn their hum bucker into a single-coil pickup for a wide range of tones. Epiphone’s nickel hardware is the best in the business and the "1961" G-400 PRO includes the classic Lock Tone Tune-o-matic bridge and Stop bar tailpiece combo and Epiphone “Deluxe” 18:1 ratio machine heads.
