This great looking Journeyman Relic Fender Strat features '65 pickups with a handwound in the bridge. The modern wiring with the "blender" mod allows a blend of either neck or bridge pickup (depending on position). So you can get the "Tele" Tone by blending the Bridge pickup in with the Neck pickup (or vice versa), and in the in-between positions it allows blending in either Neck or Bridge for all three pickups on, a surprisingly funky sound.
These pickups sound great, and with the middle being reverse wound, reverse polarity, it's hum cancelling in the in-between settings. A greasebucket tone circuit means you won't loose the highs as you roll back the volume too!
The 2 piece Alder body has been finished in the unusual Teal Green Metallic custom colour with a few dings and dents, but not too many, befitting the Journeyman Relic finish. A 65 Oval "C" Neck (.820" to .974") AAA Rosewood fingerboard with Medium Jumbo Frets with a 9.5" Radius and rolled fingerboard edges.
