Gibson Acoustic J-45 Vintage, Vintage Sunburst Overview
This model stays true to the original in every way, including the same round-shoulder dreadnought body design with the back and sides constructed from genuine Mahogany.The enhanced sounboard, made from thermally cured Adirondack 'Red' Spruce, allows Gibson to replicate the aging process on the cellular level for that legendary Gibson Acoustic vintage sound and appearance. The top bracing uses custom vintage hide glue.
The 1-piece Mahogany neck is topped with a smoother, hand rubbed and oiled 1-piece Rosewood fingerboard with an improved feel. The fingerboard edge is softened to comfortably fit the contour of the player's hand whilst the penetrating and finishing oil lasts longer and maximizes wood's natural vibrancy. Finer grit sandpaper and polishing compounds are used for a smooth VOS finish.
The new premium setup utilizes state-of-the-art German engineered Plek technology to create the finest playing surface possible. Then Montana's finest craftspeople hand finish each guitar for the world's finest feel and playability. Fitted hardshell case included.
