The Gibson Bob Dylan SJ-200 Players Edition 2018, Vintage Sunburst is a lovingly constructed take on the infamous Bob Dylan's customised SJ-200. Taking the raw, expressive heart of what made the original so special, Gibson has tastefully fixed the Bob Dylan SJ-200 up with a few contemporary features to enhance its playability for the modern performing artist.

The Bob Dylan SJ-200's body is constructed using a flame maple back and sides with an Adirondack red spruce top that moves through a rich colour transition outwards towards to the edge. Its double pick guards feature an engraved vine and floral pattern with mother-of-pearl dot inlay.

The Bob Dylan SJ-200's 2-piece maple neck is finished in an eye-catching vintage sunburst and topped with a rosewood fingerboard finished with stunning pearl Bella Voce inlays. Sitting atop of this is the black headstock lined with gold Grover rotomatic tuners and featuring the classic Gibson script logo in mother of pearl above Bob Dylan's eye logo finished in high detail.

Outstanding tonal quality results from the Bob Dylan SJ-200's premium tonewoods and dimensions, with Adirondack red spruce on top which is renown as having the highest volume ceiling of almost any species out there. The classic SJ-200 dimensions are large, its body provides a roomy natural resonance and great bass tones, the maple neck with rosewood fingerboard further contributes to the guitars beautiful natural resonance and warmth.
