Gibson Custom Standard Historic 1959 Les Paul Standard Gloss (Aurora Borealis) Overview
Gibson 1959 Aurora Bealis Les Paul Product Overview by GAK
Based around a 2016 Standard Historic spec instrument, the Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Aurora Borealis is a truly unique instrument! One of a very limited run of 50 guitars Worldwide, this is a chance to own a rare and beautiful Les Paul! The finish is based on the Aurora Borealis or 'Northern Lights' - A phenomenon which occurs in the night skies of the Northern hemisphere.
Everything you expect from a handcrafted, Standard Historic 1959 Les Paul is here; a lightweight aluminium tailpiece, long neck tenon, bumble bee capacitors, hand-wired harness, and more, plus a limited edition, hand-sprayed Aurora Borealis gloss finish that will make this one a very rare catch for a few lucky players. Each one is serialised with "R9" and will come without the pick-guard attached (it's in the case) so that the figured maple top and dancing multi-coloured finish can be seen without obstruction.
