The eight-string Jackson SLATHX 3-8 features an arched Soloist Basswood body with a quilt maple top veneer, a through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement for superior stability, Direct Mounted Seymour Duncan - Sentient (neck) and Seymour Duncan - Nazgul (bridge) pickup set, a bound compound-radius (12-16in) dark rosewood fingerboard with Piranha Pearloid inlays, 24 jumbo frets, 26.5in scale and a string-through body hardtail bridge.

Amazing guitar feels great sounds great, the finish looks amazing black with a hidden tint of purple great guitar definitely recommended only thing I would say to improve is the strings as the low f# is a bit floppy but that's easily fixed with new strings, the neck feels very smooth great for rhythm even better for lead, the pickups are seymour duncans they have a great metal sound have a great variety of sound the neck pickup is better for cleans and lead but the bridge is the best for heavy rhythm. The frets are jumbo, so it's very spacious easy to do lead and rhythm. The tuners are very stable hold their tuning very well even with new strings.
