The Korg KR Mini Rhythm Drum Machine is an extremely compact, simple drum machine with a built-in speaker. The KR Mini also has optional battery power allowing you to make beats and rhythms on-the-go. 60 diverse rhythm patterns are included with the Korg KR Mini Drum Machine which can all be chained together to create or song, or alternatively you can use the 16 velocity-sensitive pads to create original rhythms.

It is great as far as it goes but only has presets in 4/4 time (or 8). If you want to waltz then forget it, the only way to get 3/4 time (or 6/8) is to go through a tedious "record your own" process. The instructions are minimilist and incomprehensible.

This is a perfectly fine drum machine for accompanying guitar/drums etc at home. The beats and patterns are pretty basic 4/4 rhythms. Be realistic with your expectations when you pay £65 for a drum machine. If you want the all singing, all dancing super duper drum machines you will have to pay a lot more than this. For the price is suits my needs perfectly.
