Extremely compact in only a rugged 1U metal housing, the XS400 is a dependable, efficient Class D amplifier delivering 200W per channel to 4 ohm speakers but weighing in at less than 3.5kg!! The frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz bridge mode offering a single 400W output to an 8ohm speaker help make the XS400 as versatile as possible and an incredible bargain for home studios, installations, DJ monitoring and many, many other applications.

The LD Systems XS400 Class D PA Power Amplifier is a reliable tool designed to cope with tough situations featuring protection circuits to deal with DC, overloading, short-circuiting or overheating and even has a soft-start delay to help protect other kit, too! Th built-in limiter and ground lift functions can be activated via the rear panel where you will also find the XLR, jack, and RCA inputs along with the Speakon compatible and screw terminal speaker outputs. There is also a mode switch to select between the 3 operational modes of the XS400:

  • Stereo - the 2 channels operate completely independently (even amplifying individual mono signals)
  • Parallel - the mono input of Channel A is fed to the outputs of Channel A & B with the Channel A controls operating as the master controls
  • Bridge - the outputs of both channels are connected to give a more powerful mono output into a minimum 8 ohm load.
