First produced back in 1906 by Michail Toomas Paiste in St Petersburg, Russia, Paiste cymbals have grown to become some of the most popular and self-respected in the industry. In the first half of the 1900's, Paiste moved from location to location across Europe, until finally settling in Switzerland (where they have remained) in 1957.
