The new series emulates a professional turntable/mixer setup, as well as specialist features for open-format and scratch DJs.

Battle Mixer/Deck Configuration

To make the experience of mixing, scratching and battling other DJs as realistic as possible, both units feature a PLX Turntable/DJM-S Mixer DJ configuration.

This means that tempo sliders have been placed at the top of each deck section and positioned horizontally. These perfectly mimics using a turntable in battle mode.

The performance pads have been placed in the centre of the mixer, along with the Lever FX paddles. Again, this is the exact place they would be found when using a DJM-S Mixer.

Serato DJ Compatible

Both REV DJ Controllers are controlled by Serato DJ. Serato DJ is widely used by Battle DJs, Scratch DJs and Open-Format DJs across the globe, so it’s only right that it comes included with DDJ-REV.

The DDJ-REV7 comes with Serato DJ Pro and the DDJ-REV1 comes with Serato DJ Lite. No matter which you choose, REV is ready to go straight out the box.

Scratch Bank

Including in both Serato DJ packages, you will find Scratch Bank. This setting allows you to place your own samples on the performance pads of the controller and trigger them for more creative options.
