Schaller 14010601 S-Lock Strap Locks, Ruthenium, 2 Pack Overview

The Schaller S-Lock Security Locks. The original just got better! Ingenious design, superb materials and outstanding quality.

For decades the most popular strap lock system for guitar and bass. They protect your instrument by preventing accidental release of strap. Includes high-grade felt washers for ultimate protection of the guitar's finish.

What's new?

  • The overall design has been improved
  • End-pin and screw now one part rather than two
  • Sprung lock mechanism improved for easier usage.
  • Improved strap locking ring

Schaller Security Locks can be used on acoustic guitars as well. Screw Security Lock pin into tail-block and heel. Avoid screwing into the unreinforced part of the sides.

Much prefer the old style. Firstly one of the studs was faulty. When I got a replacement it isn’t as long as my old screw with no possibility to use your own anymore as they’re attached. Also the little grub screw needs a tiny flathead screwdriver, why not an allen bolt for less slippage and only needing one tool to fit? Please offer the old style Schaller, these are not an improvement. If the small rattle on the old ones annoyed people I guess their amp wasn’t loud enough.

I previously had a set of Schallers on the bass but the new design is much better with the locking nut and more substantial.
