And "Hi-Low" Base allows you to set a snare drum lower than the conventional stand.

- 28.6mm diameter base tubing, double braced legs
- Height adjustment range*: 580mm - 770mm (22 7/8" - 30 1/3") (Height adjustment range indicates the distance from the batter head of a mounted 5.5" depth snare drum to the floor.)
- Hi-Low Base: TAMA's unique "Hi-Low" Base is a totally new design in snare drum stands. It allows much more flexibility in height adjustment - any snare from piccolo depth to 8" deep can be accommodated.
- Rubber Stopper: Unlike the Star-Cast Mounting System for toms, the Air-Ride Snare Mounting System features a special brace, which keeps the snare drum stabilized even during heavy rim shot playing.
- L-Rod: The specially designed hexagonal L-Rod features position markers for 12", 13" and 14" snare drums.
- Rubber Bolt and Nut: As on the Star-Cast Mounting System for toms, specially designed rubber bolts and nuts keep shell vibrations from being absorbed by the stands. Hard rubber eliminates unnecessary wobble and the bolts and nuts unscrew easily for rapid head changes.
- Omni-ball Tilter: The use of TAMA's legendary Omni-ball system provides the same flexible yet stable angle settings found on TAMA tom stands.
- Hoop Grips: Three Hoop Grips allow the attachment of the Star-Cast Mounting System to die-cast or triple flanged hoops. Placed at three balanced positions, the Hoop Grips carry the entire weight of the drum so there's no stress on the shell to dampen vibration.
