TC Electronic The Dreamscape Pedal
TC Electronic The Dreamscape Product Overview by GAK
A long-time user of their products, guitar legend John Petrucci of Dream Theater has teamed up with TC Electronic to create the The Dreamscape, which in short is a chorus, flanger and vibrato all in one pedal featuring a plethora of mind-blowing signature tones designed by the man himself.
The simple interface of The Dreamscape is comprised of four control dials - Speed, Depth, FX Level and one that allows you to select the signature tone that you want to use which includes a TonePrint slot. This pedal also sports a neat three-way voicing switch where you can select between Bright, Normal or John Petrucci's signature 'Dark' setting.
The Dreamscape boasts a robust yet compact design and has true bypass which means guarantees zero tonal coloration and optimal signal integrity and clarity.
- Six Signature Tones Tailored by John Petrucci
- One Brand New Flanger TonePrint
- Three Mind-blowing Modulation Effects in One Pedal: Chorus, Flanger and Vibrato
- Corona Chorus TonePrints Are Available as The Dreamscape TonePrints
Amazing, i use this for the modulation section of my pedal board setup. The pedal show greatt versatility and is definitely not limited to DT tones. I mainly play 80s metal and stoner rock (wierd mix i know) with both bass and guitars in different tunings. The ability to download toneprints makes this even more versatile as you can access tones that could not be got from using the dials alone. If lost/stolen i would buy another straight away i only have space for one modulation pedal on my board and this covers all the sounds i need.
Outstanding value for money. No tone suck. 3 effects for the price of one! Absolute bargain at ninety nine pounds, free delivery. Cannot argue with that. Solid rotary dials (if not, just use small Allen key to tighten grub screw. Easy peasy).
Orgasmic. More than just a straight forward pedal.. Starting to LOVE TC Electronic. These guys are doing a great job and groundbreaking stuff. Thinking outside the box
