TecAmp XS 115 (4 Ohm) Overview
Just telling by the weight of the XS-series cabinets you might even think there are no speakers inside.By consistently following the principles of lightweight construction, for example using 15 mm high-quality Italian Poplar plywood and neodym drivers throughout, we have been able to drastically reduce the weight of the cabinets.
Even our smallest cabinets offer high-quality features like the high-grade NTW 1 neodym tweeter and the Tweeter Switching System, and are available at 4 or 8 ohms, thus making them real TecAmp cabinets like all our other
cabinet series. The cabinets are dampened in the best possible way by a well-thought bracing and acoustic foam in order to eliminate unwanted resonant peaks.
Due to these inner values, because of the fat, powerful sound, the tonal flexibility and the easy portability the cabinets of the XS-series are very popular with upright bass players.
