I tend to wander about a bit when I play (I don't know why, my legs seem to take on a life of their own), so a lead I won't trip over is a must. I've been using a straight lead since my last very old curly one finally gave up the ghost, standing on the damn' thing nearly pulling the guitar off my shoulder and tripping up, so I'm really happy to get back to a curly lead at last. There is one caveat which robbed it of its extra star, however. Whilst it's described as red, it's actually pink. Quite a nice shade of pink, but pink nevertheless. I'm now saving up to get a Cadillac in a similar shade. If it's good enough for Springsteen...
