Ibanez SRMD200D, Powder White Overview

This model is part of the SR Mezzo series, which uses a 32” medium length scale to make it easier to play (especially for beginners) and deliver a rich low end. This model has a Poplar body, and a Maple neck topped with a Jatoba fretboard and 22 medium frets. It also has Dynamix PJ pickups, which are single-coil pickups and the combination provides you with a wide range of tones. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 2-band EQ lets you control your sound, and the look is finished with all-chrome hardware, and a classic Powder White finish.

I have played guitar for over 40 years but this was my first bass. It’s perfect. All the quality I have come to expect from Ibanez. A great set up. It played magnificently straight out of the box. (Well ok I had to tune it.) It’s light and comfortable, balances as a guitar should, a wide choice of tone with the PJ pickups and active electronics. Killer looks. It’s really does deliver way beyond its price in every respect.
