Classic Speaker mode provides an organic sound and feel, while all-new presets—including vintage amp presets voiced by a renowned tube-amp maker, and Artist and Iconic Song collections—provide you with authentic building blocks from which to craft your sound into raging metal, ambient landscapes, chiming pop, or virtually anything you can conjure up. CLASSIC SPEAKER & FULL-RANGE MODES: The new Classic Speaker mode provides more organic and authentic amp-to-speaker tones, while Full-Range Speaker mode is optimal for acoustic guitars and jam track playback.

USE YOUR FEET: The Spider V 240HC MkII is optimized for use with the optional Line 6 FBVTM 3 Advanced Foot Controller, which lets you control your amps and effects without interrupting your performance. Easy to use. There are people who slate Line 6 a lot...but ignore them. This is a great upgrade from the Spider IV. I had the 150HD. Literally plug and play. Built in tuner helps out a lot. When in dark lighting you can see where you are with it. They've improved the display. Clearer. Brighter. Better. Also a great point is with the Spider Remote app. You can change your tone settings on the fly...in real time. I have already made my personal tones and they sound great. Just set the demo loops to your style of playing and tweak the settings using the app or connect to laptop pc...or on the amp itself...its really easy to navigate and no need to worry about playing a riff then stopping to edit a setting...E.g...EQ, delay, chorus etc...it'll change it and you can hear it in real time. Plus the Cubase LE you get when you register this is always a bonus. The 240HC MKII has speakers built in...2 of them..so no need for a cab for practice with a band...still packs a punch. Overall...they've come a long way...I've always used line 6...I don't use a massive pedal board with hundreds of different pedals...I just need something that's easy to use and sounds great. Cheers for reading. Chris.
