Marshall Guv'nor 60th Anniversary Distortion Pedal Overview

Marshall Pedals Linked SKU Banner

This meticulous reproduction of the iconic Marshal Guv’nor drive pedal has been expertly crafted to bring you classic stack-style crunch in a compact, hand-wired pedal.

Unmistakably authentic, unapologetically classic.

Revisit the glory days of rock with the reissued Guv’nor pedal from Marshall, exclusively available at GAK. This meticulous reproduction of the iconic drive pedal packs the same punch as the original and is hand-built to capture the essence of the legendary Marshall sound.

Rediscover the iconic sound.

In 1989, the Guv’nor broke the mould as the first pedal to deliver the sound of a Marshall stack in a compact form. With its hard clipping circuit and robust metal construction, the Guv’nor set a new standard for distortion pedals. Today, this vintage reissue is here to do it all over again.

From soft, driven tones to full-on distortion, the Guv’nor can handle it all. This faithful reproduction stays true to the original, with the same design and sound that made it a classic.

The original formula, refined for today’s guitarist.

Built in the same factory that has been crafting Marshall amplifiers for over six decades, the Guv’nor is a testament to the brand’s commitment to quality and authenticity. Whether you’re a fan of classic rock, heavy metal, or anything in between, the Guv’nor is the perfect addition to your rig and a reminder of the glory days of rock.

Fantastic! Gigged two of these destruction in the past, it’s so good they’ve been reissued, sounds great as they always did.
