The Cali76 Bass Compressor is a studio-grade compressor pedal inspired by the worldfamous Urei 1176 studio compressor, heard on many of the greatest studio recordings since the 1960s. The Cali76 Bass Compressor uses uncompromising all-analogue circuitry to make these distinctive, ultra-fast FET compression tones available to modern bassists. This Black version perfectly matches the Origin Effects BassRIG '64 Black Panel Overdrive & Preamp Pedal.

The latest iteration in Origin Effects’ esteemed Cali76 compressor series, the Cali76 FET Compressor and Bass Compressor boast comprehensive studio-style controls. They include a DRY knob for parallel compression and an enhanced sidechain, mirroring the response of the sought-after “large format” Cali76 that propelled Origin Effects to prominence in 2012. The Cali76 Bass Compressor additionally incorporates an HPF control to enhance low-end clarity and preserve natural dynamics on lower strings.

Featuring a 10-LED gain reduction meter, these pedals offer pedalboard-friendly enclosures and exceptional headroom due to internally increased voltage. They represent over a decade of expertise in crafting premier compressor pedals.
