Pignose PGG-200, Mahogany Overview

The Pignose guitar PGG-200, according to the manufacturer, "puts all the funk, grit, and power of a Pignose amplifier right inside a very playable, kickin' little guitar. Simply pull on the famous Pignose knob, crank it up, and the famous Pignose sound comes straight out of the guitar and into your face"!

The PGG-200 features a full 24 -+ inch scale, a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with bolt-on maple neck, fixed bridge with adjustable saddles and both standard -+ inch and 3.5mm output jacks which also allows the guitar to drive headphones and a regular amp.

The PGG-200 also features a Lipstick pickup, built-in amp, and metal Pignose volume control (push-pull on/off switch) and the gutsy 1 watt on-board amplifier is powered by a 9-volt battery.

Truly a perfect guitar for every application...on stage, back stage, recording sessions, on the road, in your room, on your lunch break, or in-between classes. So, whenever the urge to rock hits you, your Pignose guitar is there to let rip!

And if you are heading for college or university then this is THE perfect guitar to take along. Nothing to plug in, unless you want to. Just pick it up, turn it on and go!

Nut made out of chewing gum. No adjustment available on the neck so unable to set neck relief. High E struggled to be heard over the other strings even when adjusted. Inbuilt speaker sounds like any other 9v practice amp… 50/50 good sounding/bad sounding. Short scale length a bit narrow for large handed players. Apart from all that.. if you were to spend some money and time on it sorting what you could and adding a few upgrades it would make a great grab and go guitar… they come in a great range of colours and are really fun… but out the box they are disappointing. Returned.

Great little guitar with a pig punch these guitars have been around for years. So still very popular and built to last. Lots of modifications can be done to them to get the sound your after

The perfect travel guitar, great for working out tunes, busking, small jams without having to set up or carry an amp but becomes an awesome guitar when you get that moment when you can plug into an amp.....just one thing tho, the supplied strings are not great and I'm not fused about the case either. Change the strings asap for a great sounding and improve playability. Enjoy.
