The Squier FSR Classic Vibe ‘60s Precision Bass is part of the Classic Vibe range of electric guitars and bass guitars, which are inspired by the vintage Fender models from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. Some features of these models include vintage pickups for authentic old-school sounds, tinted necks, and Fender colours from the past.

This model is also part of the FSR (Fender Special Run) range, which includes unique features such as limited edition finishes to re-wired amplifiers.

The Precision Bass combines classic looks with playability, featuring a lightweight poplar body that delivers a balanced sound, a 34” scale length, a neck made from maple which delivers a snappy note response and has a slim, comfortable ‘C’-shaped profile to provide comfortable playability. This is topped with a smooth Indian laurel fingerboard with a 9.5” radius and 20 narrow-tall frets.

It also has a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with thread steel saddles and old-school tuning machines which improve the tuning stability and add to the retro look.

For pickups, it has an alnico split-coil pickup designed by Fender which delivers a vibrant tone. The Squier FSR Classic Vibe ‘60s Precision Bass is completed with a headstock colour to match the body with 1960’s inspired markings, a 3-ply parchment pickguard, nickel-plated hardware, and a classic Sonic Blue finish.
