The Earthquaker Devices Spires is a two-headed beast of a fuzz. This two-channel stompbox features one channel (Green) based on the legendary (and sadly long-discontinued) Rosac Electronic Nu-Fuzz and another (Red) based on the much more recently discontinued Earthquaker Devices Dream Crusher Fuzz. The Green Nu-Fuzz-a-like channel is beardy, zingy and high-output, while the Red channel gives that glacial sludgy grrrrr we fell in love with when the Dream Crusher was released. When you turn on both channels, the Spires becomes a fuzzy death machine full of vintage goodness. The channels can be blended dynamically to find your perfect fuzz tone, making the Spires a great space-saver for the fuzz lovers among us.
