ESP LTD Mirage Deluxe '87, Rainbow Crackle Overview
This model is part of the Limited ‘87 Series which faithfully recreate ESP’s instruments from 1987, packing vintage features and looks to create a guitar that sounds and looks good. The Mirage Deluxe '87 has an Alder body with a 3-piece maple neck with a thin ‘U’ profile making it comfortable to play, topped with 24 extra-jumbo frets on a Macassar Ebony fretboard. It also features LTD tuners and a Floyd Rose 1000 locking tremolo bridge.
This model has a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail pickup, which has a high output with lots of midrange harmonics and an aggressive crunch, and a Seymour Duncan Distortion pickup at the bridge, which delivers tight and mean lows with a searing top end. Black hardware and a striking Rainbow Crackle finish complete this guitar’s striking aesthetic.
