This Telecaster is a hot-rodded '52 model and has been made by the Fender Custom Shop using the finest tonewoods available. Combining a prized '50s Tele with a host of distinctive features, this guitar offers something truly special.

Classic Feel & Sound

One of the most desirable Fender instruments out there is a 1952 Telecaster, which this particular Custom Shop guitar uses as its basis. This provides it with an authentically vintage character at its core. Leaning into the “customised” ethos of this Tele is the '65 Strat C neck profile, which provides a slick, comfortable feel. The robust neck features a 1-piece Maple construction and is adorned with old-school medium jumbo 6150 frets.

The period-correct Ash body provides this Tele with a bold natural tone that beautifully balances chiming highs, a clear mid-range and defined low end. The nitrocellulose finish is like the one used in the golden era and enhances sustain by allowing the guitar to “breathe”.

Gorgeous Worn-In Look

This Telecaster has been given the Custom Shop Heavy Relic treatment. Out of all the Time Machine processes, this one is the most intense. From the exposed wood to the oxidised hardware - every aspect of this Telecaster has been made to look like it’s undertaken decades of hard gigging and performing.

Potent Tele Tone

This Telecaster’s pickups give it a “modded” sound and character of its own. The bridge is loaded with a handwound '50-51 Blackguard single-coil, which caters for the classic Tele chime and twang. The neck features a Seymour Duncan “59 Model” SH1 humbucker, which emulates the detailed & open sound of a vintage P.A.F. pickup. These pickups complement each other well and sound fantastic when used together in Position 2.
