Ibanez SR1305SB Premium 5 String Bass, Magic Wave Low Gloss Overview

This model is part of the SR Premium range, which has modern, lightweight and versatile models that are available in a variety of forms, price points and finishes. This model has an African Mahogany body, which characteristically gives a warm, resonant tone, and the neck is an Atlas 5-piece Panga Panga / Purpleheart neck with KTS titanium rods, which greatly reinforce the neck strength. On top of this is a Bound Panga Panga fretboard with Premium fret edge treatment, which means the fret edges are smooth and rounded making it super comfortable to play. There’s also Nordstrand Big Break pickups and an Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ to give you full control over your sound. To complete the look there are abalone oval inlays, an Ash and Panga Panga top with a Magic Wave Low Gloss finish.
