Roland KPD-70 Triple Pedal Unit For FP-30, White Overview

Roland KPD-70 Triple Pedal Unit For FP-30, White

The KPD-70 is a dedicated wooden triple pedal unit for the Roland FP-30 Digital Piano. Available in either Black or White finishes, it perfectly matches either colour available on the FP-30.

Having three pedals means you have Damper, Sostenuto and a Soft Pedal. When holding down the Damper pedal, all the notes you play on the piano will sustain. Sostenuto allows you to sustain only the notes held down when you press the pedal, but keeping others staccato, perfect for when you do not want to sustain bass notes under a chord. The Soft pedal will slightly mellow the piano sound, which is widely used when playing in softer and more intimate piano parts. These are also the same three pedals that feature on a Grand Piano, but the KPD-70 adds modern functionality such as; Bluetooth Page Turn, Start/Stop Rhythms and Twin Damper Pedals when in Twin Piano Mode.

Partner it with the KSC-70 Stand and your FP-30 will look more sleek and furniture like, making it more of a statement in your home. The KSC-70 Stand is far more sturdy than a portable stand, like an X or Z type, and you have the benefit of securing the stand to the base of the piano. Not only that, it's easier to put together than most flat pack furniture.
