Steinberger Spirit XT-2DB Standard Bass, Black
Steinberger Spirit XT-2DB Standard Bass Overview by GAK:
Nothing looks like a Steinberger and nothing performs like one either! The Spirit XT-2DB is a 4-string bass featuring the same distinctive body-shape as the award-winning Steinberger XL Series and features the trademark headless neck with the patented Double-Ball tuning system equipped with the patented Steinberger DB-Tuner! A breakthrough for contemporary bassists, the DB-Tuner extends the range of the E-string from Eb to B with the flip of the switch. Add to that, a 3-piece hard Maple neck going completely through the body reinforced with an adjustable truss rod making this bass extremely stable.
Other features include the patented Steinberger fixed bass bridge with direct-pull, 40:1 ratio machine heads, two (humbucker - humbucker) Steinberger bass pickups and folding leg rest for playing comfort while sitting. And the XT-2 is perhaps the world's most "travel-friendly" and convenient bass ever made. It comes complete with a gigbag and, being only 38.5" in length, it can fit in places where other basses can't! If you're on a budget but still need and want an instrument with Steinberger features and performance, the Spirit XT bass is perfect for you. Steinberger- State of the Instrument.

I always dreamed of this bass guitar! It is just beautiful! Thank you, wife for an excellent birthday present!
Wanted a headless bass and this is pretty much the same as a Hohner I had back in the day. Set-up was poor out of the box, but with some adjusting it’s nearly right now. The look isn’t for all but I like the size cf a standard bass. Only 4* as previous versions had better pickups and would have preferred an active option.
Portable, good tone, clever drop D switch.
Fits well on the body and sitting down, highly mobile, very tempted to try one of the guitars too
