The Palmer PDI 03 JB is no ordinary DI box. This one is designed for your amp! Sometimes on stage or even in the studio, there's not enough time to play with perfect mic placement (on stage, there may not even be enough space for another mic) and PDI 03 JB gives you another option - a way to DI the sound of your amplifier, complete with Joe Bonamassa approved speaker simulation. Take your tone anywhere and get a consistent soudn every time, live or in the studio.

The PDI 03 JB Speaker Simulator is a fully professional passive DI box designed specifically to be able to work with the high power signal of an amplifier output, unlike standard DI boxes. Developed for live use and direct recording, the PDI 03 JB provides a fequency compensated, transformer balanced feed direct to your mixer, soundcard or interface, whilst providing a signal through to feed to your amp cabinet. This way, it can eliminate the time-consuming issues surrounding micing up a guitar amp properly.

The PDI 03 JB Speaker Simulator has been designed to meet the famously high standards of guitar icon, Joe Bonamassa, and features the exclusive 'JB' switch, which really brings the output signal forward, giving it an 'in your face' vibe. The 3 other controls built into the rugged, sheet steel chassis are a 3-stage attenuation, a 3-position DEEP/FLAT switch and a 3-position BRIGHT/MELLOW switch so you can tailor your direct sound exactly to your requirements. The PDI 03 JB features dual speaker simulation filters , authentically replicating the frequency responses associated with both classic and modern speakers and cabinets

Capable of handling everything from instrument input, through dirt boxes and pre-amps all the way up to a massive 200W amplifier output, the PDI 03 JB is built with top-of-the-line Amphenol connectors and, of course, comes equipped with a ground lift to help kill hum from ground loops

PLEASE NOTE: The PDI 03 JB is not a load box. If used with the output of an amp, there must be either a speaker cabinet or, for silent recording, a dummy load connected to the THRU output to avoid damage to your amplifier.
